Celtica Highland Dance School was established in Langley BC in 1996. The school focuses on technical excellence and personal enjoyment for every student. With professional calibre training, students gain an appreciation for dance and strive towards self-awareness and personal satisfaction.




Jennifer Thompson is the owner and principle teacher of the Celtica Highland Dance School. Jennifer has been involved with highland dance since the age of four. As a competitor she enjoyed many successes under the training of Adeline Duncan, these included both National and North American championships. Jennifer also trained for many years in Tap, Jazz, and extensively in Ballet attending the National Ballet School of Canada.  Jennifer has taught dance for the past 28 years and has operated the Celtica Highland Dance School in Langley BC for the past 15 years.  She has been fortunate to have some very successful students who have won many National, North American, and International championships. Jennifer is a member of the BATD and the SOBHD Adjudicators panel.









Caitlin Wilson is an extremely talented dancer that has had and continues to have an outstanding dance career. Caitlin has been dancing since the age of four and has achieved many goals that many young dancers aspire towards. She has travelled extensively throughout North America and Scotland, winning numerous National and International Championships. Some of her most prestigious accomplishments include winning the Canadian Championship, North American Championship, Commonwealth Championship, and Scottish championship. Caitlin is a current member of the BATD, she loves to dance and now shares that love of dance with the students she teaches.










Stephanie Wilson began dancing at the age of three and experienced great success throughout her career. Stephanie won her first B.C. Provincial Championship at the age of seven and progressed on to win 9 more titles in subsequent years. Representing B.C., she won six consecutive Canadian-Interprovincial Championships and numerous North American Championships. At the age of 17 Stephanie attained her best results at the World Highland Dance Championships placing third. Other distinguished titles include the World Pipe Band Championship, Commonwealth Championship, and Scottish Championship. Stephanie is a current member of the BATD. She loves teaching dance and enjoys helping her students grow into strong dancers and confident individuals.
